May TBR

 Hello once again, dear readers.

I have exciting news. This month, in addition to being Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, is also the start of Cindy's Asian Readathon. This is Cindy of WithCindy fame over on Youtube. I have linked both her channel readathon video.

While I have done a marathon read of spooky books in the past, I haven't ever done a true month-long readathon. This is the perfect opportunity, reader, not only for a readathon but to dig in to some of my backlog. I've been wanting to read a some of these books for a while. I will post my regular tbr list separately from the readathon list.

May's Asian Readathon 2021

  • This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone
  • The Silence of Bones by June Hur
  • Sorry I'm Late, I Didn't Want To Come by Jessica Pan

These three will fulfill the prompts, but I might sneak in a few more that I've been meaning to read just for fun.

Now for May's other list:

May's TBR 2
  • As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner
  • Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
  • Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
  • Hood Feminism by Mikki Kendall

I'm excited to pick up all these books, reader. I do say that about every book in my backlist, but rest assured that these are the ones on top of the stack. If I don't look to closely at the others I won't get sidetracked. Hopefully.

Until next time, dear reader 🎃
